Likely this was at something like a sporting event where there were hundreds of cameras and mics spread all over the place.

The story goes that the school hired a network technician to come out fix the explosion of wires as shown in the picture. When the technician entered the room he: sighed, dipped his head down, walked out to his truck, and face palmed for about 15 min.
